sharp noise from CPx J hard drive
Hi, the hard drive on my CPx J sometimes (every two days) makes a sharp noise for 2 seconds when it boots up or after working for a while. it is just the noise but no pause or anything else on the labtop. I run a error-check, it shows nothing. should I download the diag tool from Dell? this is a second-hand laptop.I don't have any original disks with me.

Hi,
Download the Diags and run some tests. This will confirm a fault if it fails.
